A VERY QUITE AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE. THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP FOOD AND LODGING IS GREAT. I STAYED AT THE LUXARY HOTEL A VERY GOOD HOTEL BETTER THEN TH OVER PRICED RIVER KWAI HOTEL.

I didn't imagine myself taking the train over the death railway. I didn't imagine myself sitting on the Bridge over the River Kwai. I didn't imagine myself taking a set dinner on a moving restaurant cruising on the Kwai Yai/Noi river. There are all breathtaking experience, and I didn't imagine myself, I experienced it.

The town is nice, but the main attraction, of course, is Hellfire Pass and the sites along the railway.
We took a van up to it. The scenery was wonderful, and our guide was helpful.

very freindly peacefull atmosphere,cheap accomodation,good food,easy for transport when you are ready to move on.and the usual thai hospitality.i will most definatly be returning!
