Worst hotel with very poor CRMWe were so disappointed with this hotel, website looked great but hotel does not live up the beautiful glossy pictures. Tatty, broken old furniture, rusty marble in old bathrooms....very grotty indeed and even when you complain the management don't take you seriously, they just don't care actually, it's a take it or leave it ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Best beach near BangkokWe were very surprised how nice Hua Hin was. We have visited many places and beaches in Thailand. You cannot expect a mainland beach so close to Bangkok to be like Krabi or Phi Phi, but the beaches were very long and plenty of room. BalivanaBalivana was great in Hua Hin. Very cheap place to stay near the beach. Plenty of room for the whole family and although there is no swimming pool you have small dip pools at most cottages. Best beach near BangkokHua Hin is very easy for a beach near Bangkok. The town now is very busy but you can find nice quiet beaches just south of the town. Takiab and Suan Son beaches are very nice. It is easy to get away from the town to nature, villagea, farms and also fishing villages and national parks. Hua Hin for us is about the best beach near Bangkok.3 of 3 Yahoo! A good place fo retirementWell, the name itself sounds like heaven on earth! I've been there couple of years ago and i think it is paradise!Beautiful beaches at hua hin and interesting nite market at Cha Am. Lovely people and breath-taking views. I miss the bikers festival there!

Ideal beach near BangkokHua Hin is great if you are visiting bangkok and want some time at a beach without having to fly there. It's just a few hours by taxi or express bus from Bangkok. Train takes longer. There is the main Hua hin beach but we think best beach is Takiab bay, about 7 or 8 minutes from town, so very near.

It is a good place for your vacationHua Hin located 150 miles in the south of bangkok is a famous beach in Thailand. Hua Hin beach is quite beautiful. In early morning, you can see sunrise in the beach horizon. It is a special time that not many people have. Foods are very good and cheap. Indeed, I like Hua Hin very much.9 of 9 Yahoo! Only for certain peopleThe beaches are much cleaner than Pattaya. A lot of different types of restaurants are present here. Once a peaceful beach side town, Hua Hin has now become a tourist town where most local businesses are there to cater to visitors.
