The Temple Night Market in Keelung (Miao Ko Ye Shi) is simply the best night market in all of Taiwan... and perhaps the world. It even beats the Shilin night market in Taipei for the quality and innovation of the food, the breadth of goods that are sold, and the night market atmosphere which is right next to a lively temple.

It's easy to hop on the train to Keelung from the Taipei Train Station. I highly recommend it!
