This place is absolutely beautiful, everyone should go here at least once in their life. Great scuba diving, very relaxing environment. Over water bungalows at the Sofitel is the way to go, although Sheraton looked comparable. Moorea was amazing. Better than FIJI, Hawaii, and the Carribean. Tahiti has so much culture. the sheraton hotel was the best, and from our over the water bungalow we could snorkle in the ocean, our resort was one of the only ones extending into the ocean and had a ton of fish swimming in the coral, speaking with other tourists on the island we ...

Next to the main road. Small beach... Slow and lazy staff... No tip no service... Waist of time and money... Not a right place to relax... Never again... It could be good for conference or business travel...

We went to Moorea on our honeymoon 10 years ago this June. I still dream of it. My husband planned the trip and it was a surprise right up until the end....and what a surprise it was! We were telling our children about our honeymoon just the other day. I can't wait to take them to experience paradise. But I imagine it will be expensive with four children! In closing, words truly can't describe this wonderful island.

We honeymooned in the island of Moorea. It was THE most beautiful place we have ever seen. The water was gorgeous, the people were great, and the food was awesome. We had plenty to do from hiking, to swimming with the rays and the sharks, to going on a picnic, renting our own boat and going wherever we wanted to, or just relaxing on the sand.
