Moorea was amazing. Better than FIJI, Hawaii, and the Carribean. Tahiti has so much culture. the sheraton hotel was the best, and from our over the water bungalow we could snorkle in the ocean, our resort was one of the only ones extending into the ocean and had a ton of fish swimming in the coral, speaking with other tourists on the island we ...

Pearl Resort

Next to the main road. Small beach... Slow and lazy staff... No tip no service... Waist of time and money... Not a right place to relax... Never again... It could be good for conference or business travel...

What a way to start off a marriage!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 04/27/06
We went to Moorea on our honeymoon 10 years ago this June. I still dream of it. My husband planned the trip and it was a surprise right up until the end....and what a surprise it was! We were telling our children about our honeymoon just the other day. I can't wait to take them to experience paradise. But I imagine it will be expensive with four children! In closing, words truly can't describe this wonderful island.

Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa is the best!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/19/06
This was a postcard vacation! I can't say enough about the excellent stay at the Moorea Pearl Resort and Spa. They treated us like royalty. The food was great. The rooms were beautiful. The grounds and pool were amazing and the snorkeling put the Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexican Riviera to shame. It was truly a dream come true. I would highly ...

I can't wait to go back again.
By Cherrie C, 10/17/05
While sitting outside my "fa-re", staring out into the aqua and turquoise lagoon, my blood pressure eased and all my thoughts of work transformed into serene sounds of water. That's what it's like to be in Moorea. Unlike Bora Bora, its more jaded and crowded sibling, Moorea is much more laid back.
If you go, I highly ...

Paradise: Hands-Down
By cutiepatootie888, 06/14/05
We honeymooned in the island of Moorea. It was THE most beautiful place we have ever seen. The water was gorgeous, the people were great, and the food was awesome. We had plenty to do from hiking, to swimming with the rays and the sharks, to going on a picnic, renting our own boat and going wherever we wanted to, or just relaxing on the sand.

Mo'orea the laid back island
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 03/01/05
Mo'orea is a beautiful and Exotic location. it's about a half an hour boat ride from the Main island of Tahiti, and it's more laid back then the hustle and bustle of Tahiti island.
The people are friendly as well, Mo'orea also has the most beaufiul water in the world, crystal clear and full of life. Great for diving and ...

beauty and the sea
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 02/15/05
I went to moorea with my boyfriend, and we had planned on camping becuase of price, but we were unexpectically suprised that we could get a comfortable bungalow and cook all our own fresh, local, food and feel better taken care of. We just layed around and swan alot. There were no expectations, and we were surrounded by the beauty of the islands and the sea.
