Paradise at a priceI stayed at the Kia Ora on Rangiroa with my husband and children in July 2005. Note that the Kia Ora and the Kia Ora Sauvage are two distinct hotels. We loved it. The hotel is luxurious and splendid with very comfortable bungalows. The snorkeling is fabulous. The lagoon just incredible.

Rangiroa is for diving and snorkelingI visited Rangiroa as part of my 8 island French Polynesia vacation in September of 2004. Rangiroa had the best scuba diving (at Motu Nohi Nohi) and snorkeling (Motu Nohi Nohi, and Ile aux Recifs) of any of the islands I visited. Ile aux Recifs was a great day-trip beach BBQ picnic.
