i visited europe along with montreux 2 years ago, and montreux was one of my favorite places. It's a very beautiful place, it has both the small town feel and the excitement of a tourist spot. The lake is beautiful, and there is the annual montreux jazz festival to see. Take the walk from the castle de chillon to montreux itself.. its a walk along the lakeside. very beautiful.
