Yes, at first I was quite fascinated by the nice centre and the beautiful lakefront but then I realised that the centre is not so nice (Riponne and Chauderon, for example... terribly ugly places... and a little dangerous as well), the atmoshere is not so ...

I pretty much loved everything about Lausanne. I went there to visit a famous tattoo family that has their shop in Lausanne...the Leu Family's Family Iron. It was a beautiful place and I was able to drink the tap water directly from the faucet! try that in our big cities in the USA...But overall it was great and my French got improved. I stayed ...

Lausanne is a beauty!!! Great for walking around the old city, do some shopping, and have an early dinner. Visit Ouchy for a scenic walk, rent a paddle boat or go to the other side of the lake to France. Lausanne is a post card moment to remember for ever.
