Amazing landscapeGrindelwald is certainly one of the most beautiful places in the Alps. The area is as beautiful as Chamonix and Zermatt. People in the town are very friendly. The Oberland mountains are gorgeous and impressive. 2 problems however: money (everything is very expensive) and nightlife (so calm!).Was this review helpful? Yes - No(Report Problem)1 of 1 Yahoo! Friendly spot in SwitzerlandGrindelwald is a very nice little spot to stay. Get a hotel with a balcony and a view. It is one of the friendliest and safest place you will ever go. It is a very nice place. I stayed at the Benerhof hotel which is close to the railway station. I recommend a hotel close to the railway station because of hauling luggage, skis, etc.
