We were fortunate to have friends to stay with in Berne. A little expensive and worth every penny you spend. Plan to spend a whole day just walking the city streets. I love Berne. I went there during the Christmas holidays last 2003 and I really had a wonderful time spending my holiday vacation at Berne. The place is breath-taking... the Alps, the lake, the Clock tower and many more. People are very warm. Lots of places to go shopping. Food is great! It is very safe and easy to travel. One of the places that captured my being.

The Clocktower and the rest of the City is very nice and clean.J like the atmosfair and the freuntlines of the Peopel.
