15 mins by car to centre of Stockholm. Lidingo was an ideal place to stay to visit an enthralling city - forest walks, wonderful scenery, outdoor swimming pool through forest from Stockby which the kids loved, Princess cafe with fantastic cakes and lunches, lakes, J Restaurant at Goshaga -superb gourmet food overlooking the harbour and sea. Would recommend this island to anyone visiting the capital - clean, safe and very friendly people!
