An amazing experience visiting one of the best off-the-path cities in Spain I have visited. No need for public transport to walk around and a treasure to visit and enjoy in every street. Amazing local food and wine, and nightlife. Walk around and enjoy being in a real spanish city. Try to discover hiding historic places like the roman ruins, small museums and palaces.

It's a walkable city. The old town area is littered with Roman Ruins. Great night life in el Casco Viejo. Check out El Pilar cathedral, old Arab-built bridge (Puente de Piedra), and Roman Zaragoza (to name a few). Definitely felt very safe. Zaragoza is going to have a high speed train stop (AVE). Definitely worth at least a day visit to the old town. You can also find good values on accomodations.
