San Sebastian is a cool, sophisticated city with a beach front tht knocks you off your feet! It's the place where all the citizens of the sizzling centre of Spain go to holiday in a temperate climate during the month of August. In our hotel, the Hostal Alemana, they had been coming back for 30 years.
It's easy to see why. You can walk ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/06
A human town that respects the needs of local citizens and tourists. Also the nightlife was amazing with beutiful and interesting people. The view from Monte Ilguedo is unforgetable. Greetings to Elizabeth and Victoria .

San Sebastian...is not on an island
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/06
I just fell in love with that place. Another comment...San sebastian has nothing to do with Canarias..I was suprised to read that..it is a major mistake...someone should change that intoduction.
San Sebastian has beautiful beaches, mountaintop parks with amazing views, great shopping, restaurants, churches and bakeries. It is an easy city to navigate and travel by foot. The nightlife here is vibrant. This city is a wonderful place to experience the Basque culture at its best!

San Sebastian In an island??
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/05

I guess it is a mistake ...

San Sebastian is so beautiful you'd confuse it with a mirage.
The beach is beautiful, and has a great view. The town is pretty, with many small shops and good places to sit and have a bite. A must see.

Lots of fun.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/05
I stayed in a very reasonably priced pension in the middle of an area with lots of bars and young and friendly English tourists. This was 6 years ago but there were lots of things to do so the memory is cemented in my mind. It looks beutiful there and i would live there if i could. The coolest thing is that it is a short trip to Pamplona so you can ...
