The city is very pretty, with tons of shopping. The Alhambra is actually very interesting to see. The food is great, but they tend to eat very late in the afternoon and evening. Be aware that this city is VERY crowed and I wouldn't recommend driving into Granada (this comes from personal experience.)
This place is like a hiden tresor, it's amazing what the moors left. This is a must visit for anyone interested in the history of europe and the contributions made by the Muslims. It’s interesting to note that modern day Spaniards are only now beginning to appreciate their Moorish history which is incredible when you consider the contributions ...
SEE IT! No matter what it takes visit this magical city once in your life...at least once! The Albacin area is a "must walk"! Walk down the narrow paths and you'll be AMAZED by what you see around the next bend!

it has a lot of places to visit. a lot of history, lots of friendly people if not all. good food, good atmosphere, the best city in spain!!
Dont forget to make a reservation to go to the Alahmbra, if not you will not find tickets, is sooo big, and there is soo many people, that you will find your self there and without being able to get in. Just ask your hotel to make you a reservation, its worth it.

Very beautiful place to visit. Walking around to see the city was the best way to explor it. Taking a bus to go to see the Alhambra, a very amazing place to visit! Great view of the city from the Alhambra.
Granada was a nice place if you're used to the small-town or smaller city atmosphere. During the summer months (June, July, August) it gets to be very hot during the day; definitely take after the natives and go in for siesta between 2 and 5.
Taking tea along Carrera del Darro, with a magnificent view of the Alhambra, is best during sunset ...
I love to walk in the Albaicyn, have a tea in front of the Alhambra. Visit the Alhambra. At night, go have an ice cream in Plaza Bibarrambla or Plaza Nueva where you can feel the cool brise from the mountains in the middle of the hot summer...

I was there during Semana Santa- - - words can not describe the sights and sounds of this event. It was incredibly moving.
