The beaches were beautiful and very clean. I stayed at the Santa Ana Hotel, which was located 2o yards or so from the white sand. The hotel stay included a morning buffet as well as an evening buffet. A lunch buffet was also available but I did not take advantage of that. Public transportation is very good all over the island.
