This was our second visit...And we'll be back! The hotel is breathtaking. The atrium with its domed roof and the ever changing colors of the chandelier are fascinating. Looks great, service leaves lots to be desiredMy wife and I went to West Baden to enjoy our anniversary. Things started well, I was able to negotiate a discounted price for a 1 weekend night stay. The hotel is absolutely stunning, we were very impressed. Back to the pastThis is a jewel of a hotel! The rooms are large, beds comfortable, staff is VERY friendly and helpful, the renovation of the hotel is spectacular. If you want a relaxing getaway this hotel will do it for you. Call in advance for spa treatments, the pool and hot tub are great. Get some help!What a wonderful place! To look at....I've come here for several decades, way before the West Baden Hotel was restored, staying at the French Lick Hotel then. One can stand in the lobby and hear the past...the bustle of it being a busy early 1900s spa, the quiet when housing monks, the music and laughter during its college days.
