Beautiful placeI went to live and work in Jeddah a number of years ago (1988) and was pleasantly suprised at how beautiful it was. Old town Jeddah was facinating with the Friday open shops (suques) and I the history is quite rich. There are countless sculptures throughout the city as well as many beautiful flower gardens. Coral BeachJeddah is a big city, i live most of my life there. a very big commercial center, with a full day activities from business to entertainment.
Jeddah beach full with places that provide you pleasure with privacy as a best family place

Jeddah is something elsesometime you love the place from the moment you land in the air port ..Jeddah is not the case with its old exhausted air port , over 100% humidity weather and unbelievable hot temperature in summer ,,,,, but with time you don't know what happen to you ? you start love every corner in this elderly city not to mention its old or new modern ...1 of 2 Yahoo! Jeddah - A mix of pleasuresI lived in Jeddah for about a year. I love the family and the food. Coming from Malaysia, I find many similiarities between the wonderful people in Jeddah and in my own country. I was never made to feel an outsider.

Jeddah, KSASince this is the only place I've visited, I can't really make a solid comparison except between Jeddah & Cairo (My Hometown). In Jeddah, women can only dress in the black 'abaa', they can only sit in the "families" section in restaurants, airports, malls, etc, and they're not allowed to drive.
