EXCELLENT FOR SUMMER.I'VE BEEN IN SO MANY PLACES IN THIS WORLD...USA, ALL EUROPE...BUT I LIKED IT EVEN MORE THAN HAWAII....WILD NIGHT LIFE WITH LOTS OF CLUBS, REALLY NICE CARS TO ADMIRE THERE, AQUA MAGIC THEME PARK, NICE BEACH, LARGE, THE HOTEL WAS GREAT, WITH SERVICE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE...I'M INLOVE WITH ROMANIANS...EXCELLENT WEATHER...LOTS ...

If you wan to have a decent w-end (2 nights/ 2pax.) you spend arround 500-600 euro for accomodation, meal and to have some drinks in a club. For this price (the transfer it is not included) you can have more fun in Bulgaria, Greece or Turkey. The only reason to come in Mamaia it is the sand beach (big, but not clean) and the night-life if you are a fun of electronic music (every w-end comes DJs from top20 - it is a kinde of mini Ibiza).

Here's the deal with this place- Apparently it is really fun during July/August on the weekends. I was there in mid-June on a Tuesday and the place was dead. The beach was ok, probably amazing by Romanian standards, but by no means a beautiful beach. Most of the clubs and restaurants were closed also. There are several nice lighted soccer ...

High room rate for a poor hotel, dirty swimmingpool, cheap breakfast, plastic glasses in hotel's restaurant, small rooms, poor quality and taste of food in the garden's restaurants

I love the Mamaia beach ...u have it all there ..it is clean , many places to go ..it is fun and i love it
too bad that i do not live there.U have in Mamaia also the Aqua Park witch is fun ...to go to ..if u are with your familly or friends.

we stayed at the Worst western Savoy hotel at mamaia beach. do not go there until July or August because everything is closed including the resturant at the hotel and there were limited drinks and lots of construction @75.00 EURO per night. the room was nice and clean though and the staff friendly. Stay away from the sexy nightclubs because they will take you for all they can on drinks................

I liked the beach and the prices (very low), I diskliked the services. I think is right to visit this place in summer (july, august).

the resort was not ready for the many tourists that invaded it on the first of may. many of the shops were closed, many of the hotels were still renovating. i found myself looking for shops and having to go to constanta to buy a t-shirt (conveniently priced, of course... otherwise, ok, you can buy from the two open shops at double price).
