TRAVEL AT YOURE OWN RISKneedless to say that the city had numerous social problems , strikes and outright revolutions . people tend to forget the lack of services, medical care and corruption . watch for thiefs, abnouxius cab drivers and swindlers who want to open a business with you when residents from BRASOV "smell" a westerner!!

Black ChurchIn Brasov, what I loved the most was the Black Church. It's a Church with a misterious aspect, maybe because it's ancient. I remeber that, a few years ago, when I visited this church, I was surprised to see that there were showcases (I think this is the term:) ) in which it was written something in German, also...I couldn't understand ...1 of 1 Yahoo! my cityI live in this city first of all. It`s a truly great city, with lots of things to do and see.But here are some things you an avoid if you come here... The inhabitants are very kind, welcoming people, but if I was a tourist, I would not trust the commerciants, who sell all sort of things and offer services to people who are not from Romania to ...8 of 8 Yahoo! AFSHINBrasov is near the Bran Castle, the Castle Of Dracula. The city is very beautiful, nice buildings, friendly people, a lot of places to have fun, clubs, pubs, museums, churches. Enchanting old townBrasov is a beautiful old town full of history. While living there for two months, I found no shortage of things to do during the day and at night. The old part of Brasov is full of gorgeous scenery and plenty of upscale restaurants and shops, but I would not reccommend the new part of town, where I lived. The city I live in ... 4 the momentThere is no doubt is a nice city ... one of the most iportant in my country.Is sittuated in mountain periferia and and if someone comes to Romania Brasov is the best city to visit.Lots of hotels, restaurants, places to see like museum & cultural centers.

Wonderful way to look back upon historyIt was the first time I visited Brasov and the surroundings.
I stayed in Bran, near the castle. There are more interesting things to see there than the somehow false legend about Dracula. The castle and the museums give the tourists a nice perspective upon the past of Transylvania from the early centuries until the recent past. Near the castle ...2 of 2 Yahoo! Hai sa mergem in Brasov...A beautiful region with exquisite landscapes. You could do a lot of things there : skiing, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, etc. People are friendly and good hosts. They are the bears' best friend because bears came there to have their dinner every evening...:). They aren't dangerous, and it is an interesting show to watch them.
