When I went to Qatar, I didn't know what to expect. I was greeted with amazing hospitality and luxury that I couldn't even dream of. From the moment I got off the plane, I had friendly Qataris asking me where I was from and even inviting me one day to their homes to chat!

I liked Doha! I enjoyed myself. Good food, awesome malls, wonderful gold markets, and interesting old markets. The gulf is so pretty too.

I love Doha. I visited in April/may of 2007. I really is a great place to visit with masses of culture. Unlike Dubai, it doesn't have such a high tourist attraction which I prefer. Nice people and great weather...I will be visiting again!

Qatar is a wonderful place. The malls are spectacular, the Villaggio and the City Center are definitly worth going to. The Souks are very nice also, tons of things to buy and look at, including falcons. The gold Souks are popular, gold is sold by weight. Make sure you haggle. Corniche sunset.. I miss that place where you can scroll beside the sea with the beautiful sunset been there for 3 years and still im longing for that place again. Planning to go back soon again a best place for tourist for culture wise

Cheap Indian restaurants can be found everywhere in Doha. A plate of white rice, a big piece of fried chicken, some vegetables, chicken curry, and a can of pepsi with Ronaldino smiling at you will cost you only 7-8 riyal (around 2 USD). The atmosphere in these restaurants is OK, but you have to get used to the Indians eating rice, and everything ...

So to say about Doha where i spend a pleasure trip during the October-November period.

The temperature is pretty much bearable during these months.

in the hoels people who dont cover up properly in ramadan while swimming in the pools/beaches in the 5star hotels they are not respecting our culture in the holy month of ramadan.

Everything is beautiful. It's a small country but there is alot to see there. I would recommend people going there. I went there in the winter time so it wasn't to hot, the weather was just right. At night the lights are all lighten up its breath taken.
