It's a great place, great service, excelent prices and deliciously good food. You can eat with all your family because it has home made pizza, great sandwiches,lasagna, calzone, criollo food, expresso coffe, brekfast all day and desserts. Negatives - Housekeeping/Room Service was horrible - Room was not up to par ($300/nt) - Food prices are atrocious - El Yunque Rain Forest tour, OK if you are a plant lover, it was beautiful, but didn't see birds, iguanas, etc., just plants/waterfalls.

Fajardo is on the eastern tip of the island, and is absolutely gorgeous. El Conquistador Resort is fabulous, and definitely knows how to take care of guests. Several different pools, as well as a private beach, make swimming a virtual necessity. Be sure to take in the view from the hotel itself, and listen for the coquí singing in the background.

The El Conquistador is "The Top Resort" in Puerto Rico.
