Scammed in Shaver LakeWhile visiting beautiful Shaver Lake in August of 2009 we had the misfortune of being scammed for $212. A lovely town, and staying at the local campground, Edison campground, was fun. But a local merchant named John Peltier who had a sign shop took our money and never made the sign. Beautiful PlaceWe stayed at Camp Dorabelle, everything was great except they dont have showers. We went to Camp Edison to shower (there is a small fee) other than that a beautiful campground, easy access to the lake, the camp grounds are very close within walking distance. Many activities, hiking, horsebackriding, bike riding, swimming among other activities.OVERALL
