I loved it and going to come back again!Hi, I got to Faro Airport and everything was made so simple. I rented a car from a local Company www.amoita.com and I managed to fill 4 golf clubs in the boot. It was a Megane with leather seats and stayed at and incredible price. They gave me road maps and tips and I got to Tavira in just 25 minutes. Nice and PeacefulI found Faro very beaufiful and peaceful. I flew in from Amsterdam to Faro and as soon as I got there, the people were wonderful. I got on a bus that took me to the center of town. I looked for a hotel but couldn't afford it so the kind young lady told me to get a "Pensao" (pension but not a youth hotal). A n annual destination,certainlyI adored Faro.The Marina area, shopping, reataurants and friendliness of the people make this an ideal place to vacation,or retreat. Teatro Lethes, little cafes near the Cathedral, stork's nests;, Portuguese coffee,bread and cheeses are the best. Cataplana is sensational,as is all of the seafood in Portugal.
