The town and beaches were great if not a bit to expensive,people were nice most spoke english, food was a bit touch and go to be honest you have to look at what people have on there plate as you walk by to see the qaulity and drinks are very expensive, overall excellent time though.

Great food, great wine, incredible beaches, good accomodation, wonderful sightseeing (especially the seaside)... and amazing nightlife! People are really really really nice!Everything is cheap. Heaven on Earth.

loved it, it had everything from little bars to sit in with the family to busy nightlife for people that want to party. lovely beaches and everyone was very friendly. You must try chicken piri piri and portugese steak!!!

I loved the whole experience of pateo village, Potrugal! It was brilliant! The apartments were clean and MOST! of the staff were funny and helpful. My tour rep was very useful too! I would recommend it to anyone!!

We stayed at the Club Albufeira over Christmas and New Year.The reception office was very friendly and helped us arrange excursions-one of which was to the ZooMarine to see the Dolphins and other sea creatures.This was a day outing on its own.

The centre of town has been refurbished. Now a pleasant square with many trees and seats in the shade. Sometimes there are streetperformers to be seen, always a large audience to watch.
Very good little cafe is the INATEL, halfway between Albufeira and Areias de Sao Joao on the seafront, frequented by many Portuguese
and English.
Good little shops and a new Marina make Albufeira now even more attractiv.

Its a small town just 5 minutes outside of Albufereira clsoer to the beach and the water park and mall. it really has it all and you can still see a bit of the traditional style of portugal with 2 or 3 restaurants near by serving in the old country tradition.
