we came here 3 years ago as afamily trip and loved it the kids sorry teenagers cant wait its mid term its having a knock on effect cos more people come with us each year this year 27 of us are coming,great for familys large or small, eating out and shopping drinking is so reasonable,everything is a stones throw away,hire of gear and instruction,lifts taxis likewise.flying out sat. bring it on....10 day,s of bliss..

Zakopane is a great way to spend a budget holiday in the snow. The prices aren't yet as high as in France or austria.
The nightlive is better then most skiresorts in europe....
The pistes are more for beginners then for experts, so don't expect pistes like in the alps, but still good enough to have lots of fun...

The views of the mountains are amazing. I took the cable car to the top of Kasprowy Wierch and walked down. It was probably the steepest descent I've ever done. I think I could just sit all day, whether in the city park or on the top of the nearby hill, and just watch the mountains.

Zakopane is in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Tatry Mountains. Parts of the town are a little tacky, but the main pedestrian street is lively and fun on summer evenings. zakopane is an amazing town, although crowded as of late, it still has a small town feel to it, there's nothing like it in europe
