i am an american and i was able to experience Bicol by going with a friend of mine who's from legazpi, i liked the warmth of the bicolano's, their love for music and good food and eventhough there are hard times around them (volcano eruption) they still manage to have fun and appreciate life. i would definitely go back to experience it all over again................

from the time i got off the plane in legaspi i fell in love with this place and the people,the food was great fresh seafood was plenty every where,local people selling huge lobsters right at the airport, I rented a car with a driver and explored all over the bicol region just a awesum place to visit, went scuba diving,hiking the trail to the summit of the mayon volcano,I give this place a double A+ as a must place to visit
