What can i say this is where I grew up, Bacolod is well known for its sugar plantation, and for being the sweetest ladies in Philippines, It's once awardeed as one of the cleanest and greenest city in Philippines and its where you see and enjoy the fun of Maskarra where people in different races comes to celebrate the occasion with a Smiling Mask on their face (think about Rio de Janero but with a twist)

We liked Bacolod and loved the people there. Transportation is very easy with Jeepney's or cab rides for $2 to $4.

The MassKara festival is fun, but very loud. We stayed downtown across from MO2's bar and were amazed that in our hotel suite we could watch items bounce around on our table from the drum beat until early morning. We gave ...

I like Bacolod, because its clean and a very charming Highly Urbanized Center. No problems when it comes to traffic, language and people. Wow, from food to places to go its all affordable and very accomodating.

Bacolod..is known as the City of Smiles...Its a highly urbanized city but you still can see lots of vacant lots..unlike Manila and Cebu...It has wide streets and everything is in place...its ok for shopping and the dining id very exquisite but affordable...Near the city are quite number of resorts from beaches to mountain resorts and lots of diving ...
