We got to see a true old world south american city without being treated like "tourists". Ica is a truly down to earth city with many historical and arcaeological things to see. We visited the excellent regional museum, Ballestas island, and the laguna at huacachina. I recommend the La Florida Inn hostal as a clean and inexpensive hotel ...
