Very Memorable Experience Worth Returning for another Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/08
It's a small island but it's very unique because you can see actual WWII history, stay in a nice hotel with an excellent beach because of the large coral reef. Saipan is approximately 13 miles long and 5 miles wide. It also offers beautiful tropical island flowers and tropical fruits which grows abundantly. It offers four golf courses ...

Island Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/06
I lived on Saipan for four years of my life (from age 11 to age 15... I'm currently 16). It really grows on you. I've always thought it would be a wonderful place to visit, not necessarily to live. I highly recommend visiting Bonzai and Suicide cliffs, where Japanese soldiers and civilians committed suicide and homicide during the ...

CooL Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/05/06
a very beautiful island where you can find lots of things to explore. i stayed with my aunt, and her home was near the beach road. The night life was very much alive bcoz of the pubs and clubs around the island. my cuz and i used to hang out at a local billiard and bar. Overall, it was the best experience of my life going there. -djh-

Saipan is truly a beautiful place, and, as one earlier reviewer commented, "America's best kept secret." If youre looking for an island paradise minus the tourist crowd, then Saipan's the place for you!
Most of Saipan remains unpolluted, although some of the beaches on the more developed west side of the island are. The ...

Beautiful little known U.S. territory
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/05
I love Saipan becuase it is relatively unknown in the world and is a U.S. territory! Which means, it has all the natural beauty you would expect from a south pacific tropical island yet the conveniences and lifestyle based on the U.S. model. They use dollars and speak English, which makes it easy for any U.S. traveler to get around. They have ...

Wonderful place full of history...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/05
Saipan is a wonderful island. Like any other place you go, there will be issues that may or may not be pleasant, but overall I would definitely say check out Saipan if you get the opportunity. I don't agree with some of the things that are done on the island, like the Koreans taking over a lot of the stores and stuff, but what a beautiful ...

Great Relaxing Vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/05
I spent a week in Saipan in the Navy and loved it. I've had the opportunity to travel all over Asia and if you like a relaxed tropical environment Saipan is the place. Some shops cater only to Asians and don't speak any English, that was a little annoying after a while but there’s plenty to do. If you go get your diving license first and to blue grotto. The night dives are the best since the sea turtles sleep there at night.
