Would love to come back!Granada is a small, safe and laid back place to visit. I’ve visited this town twice the last year. Last, on my way down to Costa Rica to visit their beaches. We love it here!We go once or twice a year to Granada. The people are great, food great, and beautiful achitecture. We stay at Casa San Francisco, owned by former Americans. Excellent, fun place in GranadaHotel El Club is a great place to stay. The owners Marco and Ellen are wonderful and the staff is is very friendly. The owners are Dutch, but will host anyone. Best hidden restaurantsGranada, is my wife's hometown, very friendly and historic, very easy to explore and relax. Many foreigners are buying up the properties around the plaza, so the restaurants tend to be pricey, and lack the authenticity of local ownership and history. The Next Place to InvestGranada is one of Nicaragua's best kept secret. Best Restaurant in town!El Tercer Ojo located on Calle Arsenal right next to El Convento de San Francisco. The owners are French and Costa Rican respectively, they are wonderful people who have lived and worked in several countries. They have created a unique ambiance with exceptional food that will satisfy the most discerning palate.
