Although the town its self is very touristy, artifical and hype up. There are so many crazy extreme sports here that you can't do any where eles in the world. It is defiantly the place to throw your money away. The only problem is that there is too much to do here. If you don't like adventure sports or partying late you may not like this ...
Queenstown is very beautiful, and there is a lot of nature,.like Great Barrier Reef, a rain forest,etc.. And some restaurant are good! If you choose a good one, you will get satisfaction!!

Unbelievable scenery and views, fresh air, friendly people, convenience, safety, all combine to make Queenstown a truly magical tourist place. I will definitely be making a few more trips.
I went thr w/ my friends in July this year. It was so much freezing that time bcoz of snow. ( Queenstown maybe always cold through out the year though ^^). The town there is pretty small and theres not much things for shopping as well. As this is a city for tourism mainly, everything seems so expensive. However, i think that people there were ...

The town is small yet comfortable, convenient and safe. Coronet Peak is only about 20 minutes away yet provides a perfect skiing place, the personal ski trainers come from different countries and ...

Actually, this is the only five-star hotel I ever roomed on abroad except Hilton. All Hiltons seem more suitbale for those business men. I like Queentown.

a bit too pricey. you can get the same nature with fewer rotten tourists for less outside queenstown. visit lake glenochy if you in the area.

In the off season you get the best of both worlds low crowds and first in line to do your stuff and there's lots to do. Altough i arrived late evening and couldn't find a place to stay. not a big deal just slept in my Holden plent of room. Hte food, scenery and people were very nice.
I just loved everything about the place. The people and the customs there were amazing. Local spots around had great food, and drinks weren't shabby either. By the time I left I left with a great family there had all but adopted me. So Missy if you ever come to the U.S. look me up.
