This place is so great. Less than a hour by train from Amsterdam via Haarlem. It's not too big and not too small. Just right. Not crowded at all. Lots of hotels and restaurants that aren't too expensive. Spectacular sand dunes sit next to the resort. These dunes go for miles and miles. Cons: very windy, like all coastal Netherlands.
