This is a place where you do not get bored. Within 15 min. you are in Germany within 10 min. you are in Belgium. Almost everybody speaks english. They have a lot of culture. Just check upfront because they have special activities at certain dates in the year.

A friend and I went to Maastricht last week. We had a wonderful time, everyone spoke English,everyone was friendly and helpful! The cafes were clean and friendly and nicely priced.. Heavenly 69 cafe was the best.. The owner was very friendly and the cafe was top of the line!! We are going to plan another visit soon!!

I spent a semester abroad in Maastricht. It is such a beautiful and fun city to be in! I love it so much that I want to move there someday.
