Great Lithuanian ExperienceThe city has changed a lot and a great place to visit during the summer months when you can travel around the countryside. Very easy to get around without a car. Only an hour away from Vilnuis, Kaunus and a great spa resort town.OVERALLAtmosphereConvenienceSafetyValue

Alytus, a nice small townAlytus is slowly coming out of the Soviet area. There are not alot of choices when it comes to finding a hotel, bar, or restaurant.
The people are not as friendly yet as they could be but have greatly improved over the past few years. I do enjoy the old mannerisms and values they still have.
