I visit last November 2008 at Nagarkot and stayed at "THE FORT RESORT", is a beautiful boutique resort. I stayed in one of the beautiful cottage built in Nepalese style with balcony. The beautiful terrace garden, unobstructed panoramic himalayan view with good aimbience and individual cottages is the feature of this hotel. I'll love to return again and love to recommend all to visit.

it's a great hotel with excellent hospitality. i enjoyed most sipping my coffee at the room balcany and waiting for the sunrise. the snowy mountain view is also beyond compare!!

Nagarkot is a nice village on the rim of the Kathmandu Valley. Get a ride out, spend the night at the Fort, then trek or bike down to Bhakthapur stopping at Changu Narayan on the way.
