My husband and I stayed at the Bella Sirena and it was awesome. It was beautiful and extremely relaxing. We rented a jeep and toured around town. We felt safe and welcomed. Although it was a little cold we still enjoyed all the pleasures the city had to offer. We rented a small boat and went fishing. We caught 50 plus fish and enjoyed every minute of it. It was an enjoyable vacation and we hope to return in the near future.
I lived in Puerto Penasco for 3 years of my life, and it was the greatest thing that I have ever done in my life. Although I did not spend every day on the beach, I did get to meet really nice locals, I was treated with respect and always had a nice meal at the many resturants. Since moving back to the states we have been back down there on ...
Puerto Penasco, in my mind, is the next up-and-coming tourist spot in Mexico. It is a beautiful area located about 60 miles from the U.S. border, south of Arizona, with a direct highway to get there. Once you're there you'll notice all sorts of condos and resorts being built. They can be pricey, too, if you're in the market to buy ...

I've been going to Rocky Point atleast once a year for 20 years, have never had any problems! For anyone who's a "Friend of Bill" I highly recommend the annual round-up held at Playa Bonita in Sept/Oct. Also, a fancy looking restaurant in Rocky Point won't guarantee you good service and good food. You'll find the best ...

I lived in Puerto Penasco for 6mo. I never did the typical "tourist thing". My son and I rented a small house away from the pricey American influence. We got to know the people 1st hand. In a nutshell: I'd make Puerto my home at retirement. It was my best 6mo. vacation, since Europe in the 50's.
Great atmosphere! Shopping and activities were reasonably priced. The hotel resort was beautiful and had lots of space. We went snorkling with the dolphins and sea lions, which was amazing. We also went on a magnificant sunset cruise out on the ocean.
I loved that you could walk up and down the street and eat the best tacos and other mexican food you will ever eat. We rented fourwheelers and rode them for hours in the sand. You can drive them on the streets there, but some of the drivers there were not people I would want to be driving a fourwheeler next to. But we had a great time we stayed in ...
Puerto Penasco is a great place for family vacation. We spent a week in the ver y beautiful and affordable Princesa de Penasco. Sandy beach is a perfect distance from town and has , in my opinion, better beaches than on west coast or eastern seaboard. Everthing was very safeand relaxed. The weather was perfect (for those who are ready for the ...

Puerto Penasco (or Rocky Point) is a great destination for people from Arizona, it's our closest beach. I have never had any trouble down there or getting back across the boarder. I would reccomend Rocky to everyone. It's a fun way to relax and waste a weekend away or a week.
