I traveled there from Sweden due to work, and I must say that I loved it, the people is amazing, open and honest, big difference with the ones in Mexico City where I also have been, in Mexico City they just wanted to get money from me and take me to night clubs, etc so I would pay their drinks...so I would pay, taxi drivers would try to charge ...

I'm originally from Monterrey. And for the tourist that are planing or interested in visiting I recomend they look up and plan well every activity they are interested in.

For a week end it's a perfect visit. But for more than a week I sugest you get some info on how everything works.

Perfect size, modern city. Home to the best soccer team in all of Mexico (The Rayados of Monterrey) and the worst soccer team in all of Mexico (The Tigres.)

I like everthing. Beautiful mountains, nice weather. Many attractions, great bars and clubs, great people. My favorite place in Mexico! It's like being in an American city. The only thing is you may see some litter on the streets but hey they'll eventually clean it up! Monterrey is the best!

I was only in Monterrey a couple of days, but was quite impressed with its beauty and charm. The people are terrific, some of the nicest I've ever met. It's a modern city with the feel of old world Mexico.

Tip: a) Take a trip to the park at the mountain. Great views and people watching.

b) Save a lot of energy for the club scene downtown. These guys party all night.

Monterrey is a beautiful and peaceful city with beautiful and friendly people, i loved it and will definitely go back. The weather, is perfect throughout the whole year there. I guarentee you won't regret it!

Is the industrial capital of Mexico but also We have a lots of Mountains and is perfect for outdoor sports.
A very safe city with a good quality of life.

Not much I could think of that I dislike. I would visit in the summer or spring. Fall and winter there are lots of fog and you can't see the mountains very well or not at all.
