Take your good walking shoes....lots of walking/hiking depending on where you are staying. Definitely see the Robert Brady Museum (actually his residence)...it's fabulous and only about $2. It was hard getting taxis with drivers who knew the city. That was strange since there are a thousand taxis. Also a lot of internet cafes for about 60 cents an hour.

Cuernavaca is a great place to visit! It's full of historical places to visit such as ruins, parks and museums. The weather is excellent. And eating out is no problem. You can choose from Las Mananitas, Marco Polo or a taco stand in the corner (I recommend the tacos from La Cubana). If your looking for a place to go out at night, your sure to find it in Cuernavaca.

do not go here unless you like touristy places or you are on your way to Taxco. student population too high. Many other Mexican cities are a lot more beautiful and culturally rich.

I mainly liked everything about this place. It seemed small, but it was quiet. I loved looking at the cathedrals there and just trying to imagine them at their finest. It was a very good experience, I very much enjoyed Cuernavaca! The only thing that I can say that I disliked about this city was absolutely nothing.
