I went o Teotihuacan to visit the pyramids i loved it. I was able to Climb the largest pyramid. I was only 12 then but it was the beginning of a 6 month stay In Mexico mostly spent in Mexico D.F. The pyramids were beautiful it was my first time there visiting friends I would recommend this as a must see. Another small pueblo to visit would be Toluca.

We were on an RV caravan with Adventure Caravans and stopped in Teotihuacan to see the pyramids there and to visit Mexico City and all that it offers. We have great meals while there and I especially liked my chicken enchilada with mole sauce that I had at the pizza restaurant. For you Rvers out there, the RV park was very nice and the owner let us hang out in her living room to use wifi.
This trip we visited the ruins in Xochicalco, Monte Alban, Chalula, and Teotihuacan. Teotihuacan was by far the largest and most interesting. The view from the top of the Temple of The Sun is worth the climb up (take it in stages if you need to - the railings help). If it weren't for the excess of rude, pushy vendors, this place would be ...
In these temples you can almost feel the power of the ancient gods. It is almost magical as you step back in time and look at the ancient ruins. I thought that the preservation of the temples was absolutely breathtaking. The sculptures of Quetzalcoatl seem to be unmarred by centuries of weathering--they even have some of their color preserved. ...
It was such a thrill to climb these pyramids and walk through the temples. Everything from the paintings to the sculptures to the steep steps and even the grout between the stones were intriguing. Plan to spend a whole day roaming the site. I was a bit nervous traveling to Mexico alone but everything turned out fine. A friend back here in the ...

Very interesting

I loved seeing the buildings--fascinating. The dancers high up were fabulous. The people selling small items were great. The only bad thing was getting not real money change in one of the shops!
A semi-guided tour is necessary to appreciate the history of this spiritual place: the purpose of the tunnels and progressive rituals toward the pyramids of the sun and moon are eduacational as one walks the same paths as those who erected such a spiritual culture. Be sure to take plenty of water - especially when climbing the pyramids!

Wonderful tour--got to see the high up dancers. Amazing that the beautiful buildings could have been built so long ago. Only bad thing was getting counterfit change after buying a Mexican stone ring for my grand daughter!
The most magical place I have ever been to on this planet. Set aside at least a day to visit. I have been coming here since the 60's and it is more amazing than ever as they have continually uncovered and discovered more of the site as time has gone on. You'll never experience anything like this anywhere.
