I just returned from Ixtapan de la Sal, particularly Hotel Ixtapan and Spa. It was a delightful vacation, exactly what I had hoped. The town is lovely, friendly, and far safer than I ever thought possible in Mexico given what I read about Mexico City. This a real bargain for the money. Excellent spa services, delicious meals and a comfortable room for a good price. Plus I lost 10 pounds in my week at the spa. I booked online with cuernavacainfo and received excellent service from first contact to the very end of my trip. I'll be back for sure.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch were varied and fabulous! ...lunch by the pool with an attentive staff and always a great desert even on a diet menu!

I was at Ixtapan del la Sal Hotel a couple of weeks ago. Everything was perfect, the spa services, the pools and water aerobics, the food, the ambience. But what I most liked was the beautiful grounds with its flowering shrubs, plants and trees. A lot of work and care has gone into making the grounds as beautiful as they are.

I never left the grounds except to go to a restaurant for dinner; the beauty just entranced me.
