In 1995 it was cheap, clean, safe. Now(sept 2006) its like TJ, begers everywhere hounding you, men cat calling your girls, traffic and terrible driving conditions, garbage all over. The room we looked at was 10x10 and smelled terrible. you could tell it had been partied in really hard. They wanted $98.00 for this room. Are you kidding, maybe $25.00 ...

We rode the trolley from San Diego to the border and caught the Rosarito Express bus right to the RB Hotel and Resort. What a great idea! Sure beats that wait at the border! If you are looking for bars and partying.. Rosarito Beach is the place! Whether day or night you can go to the bars which all day long boast their specials to anyone who drives by or walks by. Party, party.

Great restaurants, Nightly entertainment, beautiful mexican art and furniture at good prices, bargaining is acceptable, fun shopping bazaar, weather is nice year round, people are friendly and warm.

Rosarito is growing but has managed to keep it's downtown charm.
