we escaped from the city of luxemburg in our camper van and ended up at vianden. bliss. a wonderfull meadeival atmosphere was apparent as soon as we entered the town.we stopped the night at a quiet camp site situated on the side of the river about one half of a kilometre out of the town. the views in the morning of the castle were fantastic. well worth visiting again.
a place to spend several days at if you like tranquility.
