KTX will bring you to Busan in about 3 hrs. The rest will be the same as other reviews, it's a beautiful city. One thing i want to remind you before you dine in local restaurants, ask a menu with the fixed price before you sit in the restaurant. Menu without a fixed price, be aware. They WILL overcharge you.
Conveniant port for cruiselines. There os much to see for one day. Don't miss the fish market and Korean temple built by the plywood king. When I went there was an American cemetaty.
Korea is not a visitor/American friendly place. Busan isn't very interesting, nor is the rest of Korea. There are many other places in the world that should be seen first. Also, there isn't much near Busan to make any sidetrips in Korea.
