This city is very nice and close to the airport and had excellent roads connecting it with the King's way to Petra as well to Mount Nebo, Dead Sea, Bethany, Hammamat Ma'in also a new road recently been done connecting the Hamammat Ma'in Springs with the Dead Sea (Panorama site). As you see it is a good alternative to Amman and specially, those how want to avoid driving in Amman.
