I recommend Nikko. There is Nikko that is in Tochigi prefecture. In autumn, You can enjoy colored leaves. See the Nikko Tosho-gu Meseum Art. You may understand the Japanese history. I recommend monkey and Iroha-zaka. Iroha-zaka is a slope. Vertical drop is about 500 meters. And curves are 48 times.

There are many sightseeing attractions in Nikko.
Nikko-Tosyogu(shrine), Senjyogahara, Kegonnotaki(waterfall), Nikko-Sarugundan(monkey’s entertainment) and so on.
Nikko is famous for autumn colors and hot springs.
The autumn colors are very beautiful and you can really relax at hot springs.
You can meet monkeys in Nikko-Sarugundan.
It's very entertaining to watch the monkeys playing.

Nikko is absolutely amazing! It is so rich with history and culture. There are so many amazing things to see. There is a fish farm nearby, waterfalls, Embassy's, hot springs, and so much more. If you're ever in Tokyo, be sure to stop by Nikko for a day!

  • Nikko is for lovers
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/14/05
I once lived close to Nikko and went there as often as possible. It was a great place to go when the rest of Japan is hot, sticky and humid. Don't be afraid to wander, if you are in the wrong place; ...
