    Unlike the larger cities of the Kansai area (Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto) Nara seems to have limited transportation to some of it's most interesting places i.e. no train/subway access. Bus tours make a lot of sense for this town. I normally hate bus tours as they often don't give you enough time or make you wait on the bus for someone who is ...

  • The oldest capital in Japan.

    This city has the easy access from Kyoto. actually, only 30 minuites train ride from Kyoto. I took kintetsu super express from Kyoto station. very close.If you are to visit Kyoto and stay 3 days, you better hop onto the train and visit there.
