Kurashiki is a wonderful walking town. We stayed near the Canal district which is really the focal point of the towns tourism area.

The Canal features lots of old store houses from the Edo period. These have been converted into shops and restaurants (Really good one's I might add). This area also is rich in Museums both Western and Asian. ...
