  • Our absolute favorite restaurant!
    By Betsy, 02/22/08
Regina Restaurant is within walking distance of Caserma Ederle out the Chapel gate. Located at 241 Viale della Pace, it's open for lunch about 1100 to 1300, and reopens for dinner at 1730.
The food is really good and they like Americans. It's very child-friendly. Prices are reasonable (7,00 to 10,00) and servings are very generous. They ...

  • I loved it!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/06
I lived there for 4+ months in 2001 while working for NATO and have managed to come back 3 times so far. Once I got used to the confusing streets, I was hooked. Having a capuccino or beer at the restaurant on Monte Berico, overlooking Vicenza from the south was one of my favorite pasttimes. A very convenient location, and the nearby small towns of Marostica and Soave are worth a visit.

I had the oppertunity to live here as a student for 4 months and it was amazing. I serveral of the locals take my buddies and I into their for dinner just because we were American. The Palldian Architecture is beautiful. From here it is just 30 mins. on train to Venice for only like $5. Milan, Verona, Padava are all just a short train away, as well as other southern countries
