San Gimignano was my favorite place that we went on our 12 day cruise. The atmosphere was just amazing and everything that I pictured the Tuscan region to be. I can not wait to return and spend some more time there.

This fantastic "medieval manhattan" was one of the highlights of my 2004 Italy trip. Great food, fantastic views of the Tuscan countryside, and some of the best gelato in Italy. Try to stay there overnight so you can be there in the early morning before the tour buses arrive.
