Ruvo was the friendliest place I've ever stayed in in Italy. The Talos Hotel staff were helpful and the room comfortable though we did have to ask a few times for bath towels which had been forgotten. Meals out were cheap and good quality (and quantity). The local Crifo wine is dead cheap and quite drinkable if not of the highest quality. ...
