Pros: Palermo and Sicily are great. The geography is beautiful: rugged mountains and beaches with warm clear waters. The architecture is breathtaking: Temples from 400 BC, churches with Arabesque features (as they were once mosques), Norman architecture, Roman ruins. Sicily has it all.

I came in via ferry from Napoli overnight; a great travel deal since you have to sleep somewhere anyways, right. Beautiful city arriving via the port. The people were warm.and the atmosphere was electrical. I felt like I was in an international movie because of the breathtaking views.The greeting at the airport was sensational! You'll smile a great deal.

Secind trip to Sicily, second time staying in Palermo. Both times at the Gran Villa Igeia. Great city, lots going on, terrific food and shopping. A very lively place, old world, a real sense of history with the open markets.
Went to Mondello and had a terrific time and great meal. The only problem with Sicily is that it is no longer a secret, lots of tourists, but still a wonderful place to spend time.

Palermo, a city where the temperature never go lower than 10 degres celsius in winter. I love the pupils who are verry friendly.
I like the mediteranean vegetation and the places are verry nice and beautiful.
I dislike the fact that all the shops exept food shops are closed everyday in the interval 13:00-16:00...
